Just because a tooth is infected doesn't mean that you have to lose it. At Steven D. Reddick, DMD, we perform root canals
that involve the removal of a thick or damaged nerve inside an affected tooth. The end result is that the procedure stops the infection that causes a toothache and it allows us to save the tooth that would otherwise have to be extracted.
There is little or no wait time to come in for a root canal. For people who are in pain, we see them immediately and the root canal is either done that day or within a couple of days.
